New Parent Workshop Support (age 12+) *Impact Week*

Every new parent needs support—even if you’ve done it before. At no cost or obligation, Mother & Child is here to offer varying levels of assistance in the form of education, supplies and connection to resources. Mother & Child provides a judgment-free space for anyone who is parenting—including expectant parents, single parents, and families facing challenges no matter the situation. While our name is Mother & Child we are here to support anyone who is in care of a child.

Join Mother & Child Education Center for a fun and informative event designed for new parents to gain some or more hands-on experience. This workshop will cover a range of topics to help them navigate the exciting journey of parenthood. From diaper changing tips, bath time basics, postpartum planning, to car seat safety, we have lots of opportunity for families to get some questions answered. Volunteers will be given a run down on set up and take down as well as what type of support will be needed through out the event.

The majority of the work will be done inside but there will be the need to go in and out during set up and take down. Dress according to weather and close toed shoes are recommended. Bringing a water bottle is encouraged and will will have water for refills should you run out.
