Friendly Chat Volunteers with Meals on Wheels People (age 5+) Referral
Help alleviate the social isolation that many seniors experience through our new Friendly Chat program! Friendly Chat Volunteers aim to provide socialization and human connection for seniors through a friendly chat phone conversation. This volunteer opportunity can be done remotely on your own time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday. This volunteer opportunity is virtual and can be completed anywhere you are! Volunteers must have access to a smart phone and be comfortable with technology and downloading, installing and using mobile applications.

We enrich the lives of seniors, and assist them in maintaining independence, by providing nutritious food, human connections and social support. We also use our expertise and capacity to serve other nutritionally at-risk populations.

Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 5 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
