Winter Sales Floor Facelift at Habitat ReStore (age 16+) *MLK Weekend 2019*

Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. King through meaningful service to our community: "Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve."
-- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The brief respite of Winter provides an excellent opportunity to freshen up our sales floor before the busy Spring season rolls in, when our donors and shoppers reemerge ready to take on new projects. We're looking to get reorganized and refreshed, with various large cleaning projects which may include the following: - Reorganizing lumber rack by type and size, disposing of unsuitable items - Reorganizing doors by type, cleaning out storage stalls - Painting of various walls and trim left unfinished from our build phase - Buffing floors and aisleways throughout store - Full front window wash - And more!

What is Habitat for Humanity ReStore? We are the affordable home improvement outlet where you'll discover something new (and used) every day! The ReStore accepts donated new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, lighting fixtures and other home goods, and we sell them in our stores to raise money for Habitat home-building projects in the Portland Metro area. In fact, this past year we took in 47,326 donations from individuals and business partners, and in the last three years we've raised enough money to build just under 40 Habitat homes in partnership with low-income families.

Our Gresham ReStore location is the newest, freshest face of the Portland Metro ReStore family, and is excited to have your helping hands!
