Special Event Parking Assistance at Leach Botanical Garden (age 18+) Referral
Help coordinate the parking for special events and weddings at the Leach Botanical Garden! Special Event Parking Volunteers will work outside in a beautiful place while assisting people with parking and offering directions. Shifts are usually one to three hours long. Volunteers will be expected to dress for the weather and to wear shoes appropriate for walking in a garden. Good communication, organizational, and spacial skills are all involved. Greeting visitors cordially and desiring to be helpful are essential.
Managing the parking area and assisting people in finding their way to where they need to go will greatly impact the quality of visitors' experience as it can be a confusing place to navigate. Staff will be enormously appreciative of the volunteer that chooses to assist with this job!
Leach Garden is a treasure connecting people, place, and plants through discovery and delight. The garden features northwest native plants and other unique collections, and is open to the public from Tuesday through Sunday. The garden is a place of beauty, respite, learning, and exploration that is open to all.
