The agency is a Hands On Greater Portland Partner. While we do work closely to ensure that the project will be meaningful, it does not follow the same format as a Hands On-managed project.

Referral: Rescued Rabbit Adoption & Outreach

Description:

Rabbit Advocates, a group devoted to the welfare of domestic rabbits, will host a free Outreach to chat with visitors about adopting adorable, lovable rabbits as companion pets to inside homes.

RABBITS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

All adoptable rabbits are spayed and neutered. Free tips and educational materials on caring for and enjoying house rabbits! We also will offer nail trims and light grooming for pet rabbits that the public brings to us (donation appreciated).

RABBIT-EXPERIENCED VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to provide grooming, nail trims, and education to rabbit care-givers. New volunteers must attend an outreach and do a training before providing the hands-on services. These outreaches provide a valuable service to rabbit care-givers, help rescued rabbits find homes, and bring public awareness to rescued rabbit issues.
