Join Northwest Children's Outreach and aid them in their mission to help families in the Portland area provide for their children. Unpack and sort donated books, toys and clothing destined for agencies that directly serve low income and foster children in Oregon. Your presence makes a huge difference, and it's a lot of fun! Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Water will be provided! *Please note that Northwest Children's Outreach is a faith based nonprofit and there will be a short prayer to kickoff the project. The Northwest Children's Outreach accepts and appreciates donations, however small, from our volunteer groups. So please take the time to gather whatever gently used baby and children's items (clothing, toys, gear) may be in your home and neighborhood before you arrive at the volunteer session. Thank you!

This project is reserved for family volunteers. Please only sign up for this project if you are an adult intending to volunteer with a child.

This is a great project for volunteers ages 4 and up. Please sign a youth waiver for volunteers under 18. Youth Volunteer Release Form

Remember to sign your children up for the project as well as yourself!
The best way to sign up your family for a project is by creating a family Volunteer Team:

1. First, log in to your account at http://bit.ly/HandsOnRegister.
2. Click “Create a Volunteer Team,” and create your family team (please include an e-mail address for each team member who is 13 years or older).
3. Return to this project’s page and click “Select One of my Teams” (below the “Sign Me Up” button) to sign up individual family team members for the project. 
4. If it turns out any team members can’t make it, please remove them from the project to open up those slots to other volunteers.
