Serve a Meal: Union Gospel Mission

Description: Join a group of volunteers on a done-in-a-day project led by a Hands On Greater Portland project leader. No advance training or ongoing commitment required, so sign up and participate in a project that fits your schedule!

The Union Gospel Mission provides meals and addiction recovery services in a safe environment for its homeless clients. Volunteers will serve and clean up after the evening meal to the homeless. This is a great way to get involved!

Please limit your sign up to two times per month in order to give more people a chance to volunteer.

This project is great for families and volunteers 14 and up. Youth under 18 must attend with a parent/adult chaperone. Youth under 18 are also required to bring a waiver signed by a Parent/Guardian; please click on the link below to download:
