Description:
Volunteer Cooks, servers, hostesses and cashiers at Albertina’s help in the production of the daily lunch menu and work as a team member of the total kitchen staff.
Restaurant and Shops are open Monday - Saturday. Volunteers must commit to a scheduled shift twice a month from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Possible 3rd shift when there are 5 weeks in a month.
Requirements: - Ability to work quickly in a fast paced environment
- Excellent reading and comprehension skills
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours
- Interest in food, restaurants, cooking or retail service.

Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for your volunteer shift in the appropriate attire. (Please no fragrances - perfume of after shave)
- Perform tasks as assigned
- Attend meetings and required trainings as assigned with the ability to pass all required trainings within our agency
- Follow safe work practices and all procedures/plans to ensure your health and safety, as well as the health/safety of fellow volunteers, guests and staff
- Prepare, serve or assist in quality food service under direction of Cook of the Day or Albertina’s Food Services Manager
- Manages time and tasks constructively Keep a clean work station.
