Be the change. Volunteer.
*This Project is not managed by Hands On Greater Portland and is not led by a Hands On Project Leader. Instead, it is managed and led by a representative of the agency being served. The agency is a Hands On Greater Portland Partner. While we do work closely to ensure that the project will be meaningful, it does not follow the same format as a Hands On-managed project.
To sign up for this project, click on "Have Agency Contact Me." This will notify the agency that you are interested in participating, and they will then contact you with more information.

American Cancer Society DetermiNation: Hood & Portland To Coast

Agency: American Cancer Society

Description:

Be part of the original planning committee for the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation endurance program for Hood & Portland To Coast!

Participating in an endurance race is a huge commitment. The American Cancer Society DetermiNation endurance program is a powerful and inspiring movement that saves live by enabling athletes of all abilities to dedicate their training and participation in relays, marathons, triathlons and other events to a lifesaving effort to fight cancer.

We are looking for individuals with an interest in the issue of cancer and a general knowledge or interest in the local running community to help grow our program.

By joining our movement as a valued volunteer, you will be helping create a world with less cancer and more birthdays-where the disease never steals another year from anyone’s life.

Click "Have Agency Contact Me" below to get connected to the volunteer coordinator.

Come be a part of a quintessential northwest event while making your mark on the movement for a cancer free world.
