Description: Assist the Call Center team in soliciting, scheduling and logging donation pickups via telephone.

These donations provide the Resale Outlet Store with merchandise that is sold to generate funding for the many programs and services provided to the community by Volunteers of America Oregon.

-    Solicit donations from both previous and potential donors.
-    Confirm pick-up date, donor's address and location, updating computer database when necessary.
-    Provide friendly customer service and accurate information about donation pick-up procedures, redirecting calls to the appropriate department or staff member when necessary.

We ask a minimum commitment of one shift per week; flexible schedule M-Th 4:30 - 7:30pm and Saturday 9am - 1pm.

Required Skills:
-    Ability to communicate clearly over the phone in the English language, using a polite, professional tone of voice and a positive attitude.
-    Willingness to learn Call Center procedures.
-    Reliable and timely adherence to shift schedule.
-    Work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
-    Meet performance standards as established by the organization and/or supervisor.
