Revamp the Garden at Portland YouthBuilders! (age 18+) *STW 2014*
At Portland YouthBuilders, our mission is to support young men and women who are committed to changing their lives to become self-sufficient, contributing members of the workforce and their community.
During this project, volunteers will be helping us redevelop our garden that has been out of use for some time. Specific tasks will nclude some or all of the following: weeding, helping to fix our fence, helping to set up a chicken coop, working with yard debris to clear main garden and provide a space for underground vegetables, and helping build extra compost bins.
Volunteers should wear casual, weather-appropriate clothing.
Note: Volunteers must be age 18+ to volunteer on this project.
