Get Organized at Clark County Habitat for Humanity Store (age 16+) *MLK 2014*

Hands On Managed projects offer you an opportunity to join a group of volunteers on a done-in-a-day project led by a Hands On Volunteer Leader

Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. King through meaningful service to our community:
"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve."
-- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Get Organized at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore!

Interested in learning more about salvaged building materials? Want to help Habitat but don’t want to do construction? Join us for a shift in our warehouse! Volunteers will help in a number of areas, including processing donations, re-organizing merchandise, cleaning, and maybe even some painting. If you enjoy customer service and working with people, we have some opportunities for you as well! With a small staff, we rely on the help of volunteers to keep our store looking its best.

Wear comfortable work clothes, and hard-toed shoes are a must!

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore raises funds to help build Habitat homes for families in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan areas. We do this by selling donated new and reclaimed building materials, pre-owned furniture and appliances and other home improvement items to the public. With our low prices, the ReStore is a great place to find interesting quality salvaged building materials for your next home improvement project. You can also donate materials you don’t need, keeping usable materials out of the waste stream. With the support of shoppers, donors and amazing volunteers such as you, the ReStore will fund 8 Habitat homes and keep more than 2,800 tons of usable materials out of the landfill this year.
