Organize for Animals at the ReTails Store (age 12+) *CCD 2013*
Join over 1,800 volunteers for Comcast Cares Day 2013!
Help the Humane Society for Southwest Washington organize and clean their ReTails Thrift Stores. Volunteers are needed to help reorganize clothing racks, hang and stock newly priced clothing, sort incoming donations, stock shelves, dust and recreate attractive displays of merchandise, and assist in the linen department doing an assortment of tasks.
This work will stretch resources and strengthen their programs and services, making a difference in the lives of animals in need.
The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is proud to offer the southwest Washington community two quality thrift stores. Together, their two ReTails Thrift Stores are one of the largest contributors to the Humane Society, and proceeds directly benefit the more than 10,000 animals served each year.
Project Requirements:

You must be 12 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).

If you plan to bring children/additional volunteers you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Questions? Email teams@handsonportland.org

Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
