Polish the Hillsboro Library (age 6+) *MLK Weekend*

We'll be sprucing up the library--really making it shine!
Projects include cleaning the children's section including books, DVDs, checking items for damages, and sorting recently returned materials. If you enjoy books, libraries, and doing good this is the project for you!
Hillsboro Public Library enriches and strengthens our community by supporting the pursuit of connection, inspiration, and lifelong learning. You'll be helping take care of Library materials, and making the Library a tidier, even more welcoming learning space for the community.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and come ready to learn a bit about what it takes to make the library run behind the scenes!
Because the Library is not open on MLK Day the doors will be locked, so please arrive between 8:45 and 9am--we'll have someone available to open the door at that time.
Project Requirements:

You must be 6 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Volunteer Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please download, complete, and bring this waiver with you on the day of the project.

If you plan to bring children/additional volunteers you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Questions? Email teams@handsonportland.org
