Washington County Project Homeless Connect - 2012

Dates: 1/26/2012 - 1/27/2012

The Event date and time you are looking for is no longer available.

On a daily basis in Washington County,  shelters and organizations assist homeless persons with housing, food, and supportive services. Many individuals and families have recently faced difficult  times with the suffering economy and the need for supportive services is at an all-time high.  Project Homeless Connect brings these services together at one event, making them more accessible to individuals and families struggling with homelessness. Without Project Homeless Connect some individuals would not receive critical services, like medical, dental, and vision care, housing guidance, legal services, counseling, and veteran’s services.

Project Homeless Connect in 2011 served over 500 individuals. Hundreds of professional and community volunteers came together to provide the services and support the event. The 6th Annual Project Washington County’s Project Homeless Connect will be on  Friday January 27th, 2012 at Sonrise Church and we need your help as a volunteer!

How can you help?

Join us for an inspiring day of volunteering where you will have the opportunity to reach out and connect with the homeless families in our community and help to provide them with much needed services.

Volunteers will help with client support and assistance, intake, food preparation and serving, activities and other critical services.
