Create a Miracle on
Christmas Day
SE Portland
Rose City Miracle is a Christmas Day event hosted by Old
Chicago Restaurants, Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery,
Portland Impact and the Coalition for Homeless Families
for 500 homeless and displaced men, women and children
in the Portland metro area. The celebration includes
an entire Christmas meal, gifts for adults and children-
including new clothing, toys, school supplies, family
portraits, santa, long distance telephone calls to
family, and other essentials.

A New Coat of Paint During the
Holiday Break
N. Portland
Over holiday break, the room for the SUN afterschool
program is in need of a new paint job. Please join a few
students to repaint the room and prepare it for the
upcoming semester.

A holiday tradition for nearly three decades, The Christmas
Revels is a theatrical, participatory celebration of the
winter solstice. Volunteers are needed as ushers and
greeters.

21st anniversary of the Martin Luther King Jr. federal
holiday, Hands On Greater Portland will provide a
variety of meaningful service activities in which
community-members can participate.

Project Homeless Connect

On any given night, over
3,500 sleep on the streets in our community. Hands On is
partnering with Portland Project Homeless Connect to
provide an opportunity for the community to help
homeless people receive much needed services and
support. Reach out and connect with the homeless in our
community.
